Worthington Family Picnic - Fireworks - America 250 Celebration

The City of Worthington Independence Day Fireworks will blast off on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The Rotary Family Picnic returns on the front lawn of the McConnell Arts Center. This year, the McConnell Arts Center will be open with refreshments and a special historical display for America250. Attendees are urged to walk or bike to the events due to extremely limited space for parking and spectators with the ongoing construction at Thomas Worthington High School. The McConnell Arts Center opens at 5:00 pm and the Family Picnic begins at 5:30 pm. Stadium gates will open at 9:00 pm with the fireworks at 10:00 pm.
